IN SESSION – KIRRIS RIVIERE AND THE DELTA DU BRUIT

Kirris Riviere and The Delta du Bruit are a Bristol-based blues band led by actor, singer-songwriter and performer Kirris Riviere. Blending deep southern blues, gospel and swamp-rock with a distinctly British edge, the group has become one of the UK’s exciting emerging blues acts.

Their self-titled debut album, Kirris Riviere & The Delta du Bruit, was released in November 2023, following performances at Glastonbury, Bristol Harbour Festival and Sidmouth International Jazz and Blues Festival.

In 2025, the band were longlisted among the top 20 emerging blues bands by the UK Blues Federation and were voted Best Emerging Blues Act at the UK Blues Rhythm & Rock Festival in Blackpool. Later that year, they were shortlisted as one of five representative acts for the UK Blues Challenge in Milton Keynes, followed by a 2026 shortlist for Best UK Newcomer.

With Kirris’s soulful voice, magnetic stage presence and storytelling flair, The Delta du Bruit delivers an electrifying live experience rooted in heart, heritage and rhythm. Together, they forge a sound that will transport listeners to a haunting swamp of Louisiana blues / R&B.

The band continues to grow its profile across the UK and Europe, with performances in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland and Ireland, alongside a growing programme of UK blues festivals in 2026.
